SULFURTRAP^® HT8

H₂S is a highly toxic and poisonous gas that can cause severe operating problems such as corrosion, fouling, and injection well plugging with iron sulfides.

SULFURTRAP^® HT8 is a hydrogen sulfide scavengers that also removes mercaptans, sulfides, and other sulfur compounds from gas systems or liquid hydrocarbons. Because of their fast reaction rates, these scavengers are ideal when contact time is restricted and often result in lower levels of treated H₂S.

SULFURTRAP^® HT8 can be applied in batch reaction towers or can be injected continuously into the gas streams or liquid product systems. The amount of scavenger required depends on the level of H₂S in the system and degree of reduction desired.
